Christian Nurse and Her Child Kidnapped in Haiti.

An American nurse and her child were kidnapped Thursday from El Roi Haiti, a Christian education ministry in Haiti founded and directed by her husband, Sandro Dorsainvil. El Roi Haiti confirmed the kidnappings on Saturday, adding that the organization is "grateful for the outpouring of prayers, care, and support." A spokesperson for the U.S. State Department told NPR that the administration is aware of the kidnappings and working with authorities there to resolve the situation. Full Story.
