NO they haven’t been in Australia for 60,000 years, and their Aboriginal Smoking Ceremony isn’t anything a Christian can be involved in, and Welcome to Country is a pagan ceremony with the ‘capital C’ a clue to the fact they are not talking about the land, dirt or vegetation, but to a spiritual Being. Have nothing to do with any of it. The land is a gift from God who made it and who gave us dominion over it. We are not part of the land, we are not equal to it, and we don’t derive our value from it. The biggest need we have, regardless of our racial background is salvation from Christ the Creator and Saviour, and to worship Him as the one True God. Don’t get side-tracked. Jesus’ statements in John 5 and Luke 16 that those who don’t believe Moses and the prophets do not believe Him and indeed cannot accept Him as Lord and Saviour, means Australia is being prepared to raise a generation of pagans hence the related increase in Free Child Care. Aboriginal traditions or concepts of land and people are no more Bible friendly than the pagan beliefs my ancestors believed and propagated in ancient Scotland, and the real aim of the socialist politicians pushing these issues is to reject Christ as the only God.
