What is being taught to your kids?

'Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.'

Nelson Mandela
He was of course, perfectly correct in this statement. That is why the liberal-left has laboured so very hard to dumb down and use education for propaganda purposes.
Let us consider some examples - mainly from comprehensives but also from many junior schools too:
1] Literally millions of pounds of EU money is spent annually pouring glossy brochures into schools in order to convince both staff and pupils that the selling out of and dismantling of our nation is a positive.
2] I have already explained recently on here how 'lumping all religions together' is under way.
3] Children are not permitted to hear the scientific arguments against evolution in science lessons.
4] The unproven evolutionary hypothesis is taught as fact and anybody else is classed as 'an ignorant flat-earther'.
5] Man-made global warming is taught as a fact when even even the 'warming' part of that is yet to be established.
6] Citizenship lessons are seized upon by socialists, marxists, liberal democrats, animal rightsists and greens as a vehicle for selling their ideas. ALL other points of view are wantonly and calculatedly excluded - however logical.
7] When politics or economics are taught, there is an inbuilt bias towards leftwing and europhile thinking.
8] Sexual ethics are not taught - at best alluded to in a "Some people think ...." kind of way.
9] Abortion is a solution to a given problem.
10] "We do not recommend drugtaking but know that you'll probably want to try them so we'll not tell you not to do it but will suggest safety instead." ( A similar argument will be attached to sexual ethics.)
11) Morality becomes a matter of opinion.
12] "Christianity - how quaint." There is a marked anti Christian bias.
13] 'Tail wagging the dog' thinking. "There are a number of children in classes from minority groups. "We must adjust our teaching substantially so that the education conforms to them and not vice verca."
I could go on for a long time. I worked in a state comprehensive for 27 years - and mine had all of the above to one extent or another - sufficient for me not to want to send my children there until Sixth Form level after they had had a true, liberal education and were able to counter the above and not fall prey to it all.
I simply cannot grasp how or why any Christian parent with the funds to do so is failing to send their children to a dedicated Christian School.
Note! Many Church schools, as opposed to Christian schools, have many of the attitudes described.

I used to travel on this noxious airline. I'll pay a lot more to avoid them like the plague!

Ryanair forced me to a pay a £50 baggage fee for a ridiculous reason - I thought they were joking. Have YOU been forced to pay an extra fee?...
