The English Democrats.

What do UKIP do about BNP defectors? In virtually all cases, they are refused membership of the party. In the extremely unlikely event that they have been accepted, they are not allowed to stand for public office.
UKIP is very strongly opposed to immigration but is constitutionally non-racist so has  precious little in common with the BNP - which is in essence, a socialist party, in any case.

SHAME on The English Democrats - a party for which I had had some sympathy. They are accepting significant numbers of BNP defectors KNOWING full well  that this is what they are. (Labour in Burnley did the same!)

It gets worse. Their party has few members, little money and a minimal organisation. It takes very few votes but those it does take, in the most part, would be better placed with UKIP.
In this it echoes the Christian Party - whose tactics in the North West were directly responsible for the non election of UKIP's Michael Macmanus AND directly paved the way for the BNP's Nick Griffin to take the final seat in the EU elections.
