It certainly appears that this government wants to cut welfare bills which is entirely laudable but is rather putting the cart before the horse.
The primary concern should never be the cuts themselves but rather to establish whether or not individual claims are valid. Society should never be milked by the unscrupulous.
As pointed out on here many times over however, is that so many tares are to be found amongst the wheat that sorting out the problem is difficult in the extreme.
What this government appears to be attempting is to put cuts before fairness which is utterly to be deplored.
Admittedly, scrutinising individual claims for honesty may take much longer but is the only just way forward.
Being motivated purely by 'cuts' and putting claim examinations into the hands of those who have been incentivised to save money is borderline immoral.
Clearly, all new claims must be examined with great care.
We want the cheats to lose benefits: we want the genuine to have no problems with their claims.
It may take longer to undo what the Blair and Major governments did to us but ultimately, there is no other path that people of integrity could or should pursue.
Self explanatory title. I abhor that nicey nicey, politically correct, pseudo-Christianity which almost always supports leftwing attitudes - which in most cases are profoundly anti-Gospel. This Blog supports persecuted Christians. This Blog exposes cults. This Blog opposes junk science. UPDATED DAILY. This is not a forum. This Blog supports truly Christian websites and aids their efforts. It is hardhitting and unashamedly evangelical so if it offends - please do not come to this site!
