Good Grief! How About A Lifetime Humanitarian Award For President Assad?

EU awarded 2012 Nobel Peace Prize;
Nobel Prize spokesman: EU can choose who will be receiving the award.
The EU has today been awarded the 2012 Nobel Peace Prize. According to the Norwegian Nobel Committee, “The Union and its forerunners have for over six decades contributed to the advancement of peace and reconciliation, democracy and human rights in Europe.” The prize, worth $1.2m, will be presented in Oslo on December 10. It is unclear who will be receiving the award on behalf of the EU, although a Nobel Prize spokesman suggested that the EU will be free to choose the person
