MEPs yesterday agreed to allow the EU’s anti-fraud watchdog OLAF “immediate and unannounced access” to the premises of any EU institution suspected of fraud, with the exception of the European Parliament itself which grants its members immunity “from any measure of detention and from legal proceedings", reports EUobserver.
