David Cameron’s vacuous promise of an EU referendum certainly brought out the anti-EU dinosaurs in the (Yorkshire Post, January 28).

Who are all these Colonel Blimps still fighting the last World Wars or even the Napoleonic Wars? Look, we won, we have to move on and we have to win the peace. Let’s do the deals and just stop whinging.

This ad hominem drivel in The Yorkshire Post shows the higher level of arguments of europhiles. In this rant - I ask you - where are the facts?
