Many Are Now Dead.

It is a sobering thought but the majority who were lied to repeatedly, in order to steal their votes in 1975 in the referendum on continued membership of what became the EU, are now dead.
They had to be over 18 years of age and it was 38 years ago. This means that the youngest voters back then are 56 today! Surely, the vast majority have now passed away.
For this reason, alone amongst many excellent others, a proper referendum should be held on EU membership. By 'proper', I of course mean that it must be free, open and honest - exactly as it wasn't way back when, when 'Arold Wilson misled us and Hedward Teef, the man who should have faced a firing squad for his treachery and treason, lied through his aforementioned incisors.
At that time a tory PM was claiming 'triumphs' which were to weigh our nation down for decades and were dishonest in the extreme.
I think it was The Who who sang 'Won't Be Fooled Again.'
Let us pray that that will indeed be the case.
