The Chinese Opium Wars.

The Chinese Opium Wars began in 1839 and ended in 1860. It was a time of great shame for this nation as we supported the profitable opium traders ahead of those Chinese leaders who wanted to end the unmitigated disaster of a people who were befuddled by their drug use to such an extent that the society was unable to properly function.

All those who advocate 'liberalising' and even 'legalising' harmful drugs should be forced to learn a little history!
