A MORNING cup of tea or coffee does more
than just perk you up for the day – it could help to prevent liver disease too.
That burst of caffeine reduces the kind of
fatty liver problems associated with diabetes and obesity, say researchers from
Duke’s School of Medicine in Singapore.
Tests on mice with high fat diets revealed that
it would take the equivalent of four cups of tea or coffee a day for humans to
control the problem.
“The notion that coffee and tea
may be therapeutic, since they have a reputation for being ‘bad’ for health, is
enlightening,” said Professor Paul Yen, whose research is published in the
journal Hepatology. Express.
Self explanatory title. I abhor that nicey nicey, politically correct, pseudo-Christianity which almost always supports leftwing attitudes - which in most cases are profoundly anti-Gospel. This Blog supports persecuted Christians. This Blog exposes cults. This Blog opposes junk science. UPDATED DAILY. This is not a forum. This Blog supports truly Christian websites and aids their efforts. It is hardhitting and unashamedly evangelical so if it offends - please do not come to this site!
