Women of MERIT Succeed in UKIP!

 

The EU debate saw Nick Clegg try to land a punch against Nigel Farage on the thorny topic of women's rights. Of course the slippery Ukip leader neatly side stepped the whole issue, but he really can't dodge it for much longer if he wishes to be taken seriously, argues Dina Rickman - Telegraph.

How sickened are the likes of Ms Rickman going to be if UKIP ends up with a goodly percentage of women elected as MEPs - perhaps more than in other politically correct parties?

UKIP, naturally enough, espouse the meritocracy and despise lists 'n' quotas. So if UKIP do achieve this on the basis of worth alone - will these gobby types just shurrup?
