What - NO Big Bang?

Did the Big Bang ever happen? Quantum model predicts universe has NO beginning - and it could even explain dark energy.

This cannot be right. Well can it? It would mean that something touted as 'pure fact' by so many scientists would actually be balderdash! (Back to a variant of steady state theory, maybe?)
