With OLAF, the investigatory arm of the EU, sinking
under the weight of corruption within the European Union, it is perhaps overdue
to compare the EU to FIFA.
Given the chance, few would vote to maintain the
status quo in FIFA. Consequently, in any future referendum, how can any
person inclined towards honesty and openness possibly vote to remain in an
organisation whose levels of corruption are demonstrably
higher?
