| Three healthcare workers have been charged with manslaughter after a woman died from a botched abortion at Marie Stopes’ Ealing clinic. Ealing Magistrates heard on Friday how the woman was discharged after the abortion, despite collapsing on the floor after the procedure and hyperventilating due to bleeding from a perforated uterus. She was declared dead hours later at a hospital in Slough. A doctor and two nurses will stand trial on 3 July at the Old Bailey. Christian Concern. |
