Birdies.

Some people have asked why I feature 'birdies'. Three reasons, really. Firstly, I want to protect songbirds from an environmental point of view - they make our lives better. Secondly, they are a wonderful part of God's creation. And thirdly - I just like the little blighters!
I had a wonderful argument with a blackbird a few feet up in our cherry tree yesterday. He was shouting and huffing and puffing as they do. So I whistled at him and he shouted back. This went on for three or four minutes until I decided I was cold and left the arena allowing him to bask in his triumph of having put me to flight!
