SIR – Having been an activist for the No campaign in 1975, I remember very well how the establishment closed ranks and used propaganda to deceive the electorate into supporting participation in the European project.
Now, however, the British people have more than 40 years’ experience of Europe’s failures, and have lost trust in the political class.
In order to regain our sovereignty and independence, all we need to do is vote to leave.
