Two serials began on TV in the last 72 hours. The BBC effort was a
tedious offering called Uncovered which followed the well-worn
path concerning excessive sympathy towards murderers and alleged 'miscarriages of justice.'
ITV's Marcella, with the superb Anna Friel, was a much more intriguing prospect. The
latter I shall be watching again but the former has been well and truly
ditched.
