Trump is very widely despised in the UK and Nigel Farage has nailed his colours firmly to Trump's mast. I feel that this can only backfire on Ukip. Thank goodness Nigel is not going to be the party's leader for much longer.
It may well be that a rebuilding of public confidence will be the primary task for Paul Nuttall when he hopefully wins the leadership vote.
