Backlash.

Rise of Trump was BACKLASH against people being branded BIGOTS and RACISTS, says TV host.

PEOPLE voted for Donald Trump and Brexit because they were fed up of being branded racists and bigots for voicing their genuine concerns, a TV host has blasted.

Michelle Dewberry slated political-correctness on Sky’s The Pledge on Thursday, as she said if worried citizens had been allowed to express their opinions instead of being suppressed by the establishment, these political revolutions would not have come to pass.
Declaring it was time people to be allowed to have honest conversations, Ms Dewberry said: “I can safely say he [Mr Trump] wouldn’t have gotten half as close to the White House if Americans with seemingly non-PC views weren’t suppressed.
“Likewise, I don’t believe Brexit would have happened if people here were allowed to discuss their genuine concerns without being branded offensist, racist or xenophobic.”
She added: “I’m fed up to the back teeth with political correctness… it’s time for us to allow honest conversations and for the offended to be less offended.”
