After the batsmen had scored a very decent 400 in the opening innings of the game, England's bowlers, particularly the spinners, were most unconvincing and at time of writing, have allowed the Indians to dominate in the first session of Day Three.
Most disappointing. At this stage, it looks impossible to see any scenario in which England could possibly take 18 wickets against a backcloth of also having to bat a second time. Time will not permit.
Series over: England have lost and are by no means certain of saving this particular match either.
