In its first season, Peter Kay's Car Share
was seriously clever, brilliant, intelligently written, poignant, funny, original and a
must to watch.
The second season, however, is: limp, lame, unfunny,
dreary, no longer poignant, tedious and contains not one jot of the
genius displayed in Season One.
A simply dreadful letdown!
(If you have to try to get all of your laughs by
using a drunken transsexual(?) dressed as a smurf as the scene-stealer, then, if
you are not at rock bottom - you must be pretty darned
close.)
