In effect, it is more a hedonistic ditty which has devalued life.

For me, the key word is 'just' - the translation of which is surely 'only'.

Little wonder our world is in such a mess if this is the anti-philosophy adopted by millions.

Maybe she wasn't entirely to blame. Pop culture had already done severe damage to our society. The final straw, maybe?
