Our God is a God of righteousness and justice. He is a God of grace, love and mercy.
To listen to some, these qualities do not go together but our Father in Heaven is all of these things.
He will not fail to chastise.
It is not His choice to punish us - it is ours.
God prefers to be merciful but there is a single proviso. We must repent of our unrighteousness and be cleansed by the blood shed by God the Son at Calvary, all for the remission of our sins
