Leah.

Dear all,

Please stand with our persecuted sister, Leah, today, as we mark two years since she was abducted - she will hear all our prayers and be comforted by them.

Hi All,

Leah refused to renounce her faith. She paid the price with her freedom.

She was one of 110 girls abducted from their school in Dapchi, Nigeria by ISWAP (an offshoot of Boko Haram) in February 2018. The next month, following negotiations by the government, the surviving girls were put into vehicles to go home.

However, Leah wasn’t among them. She wasn’t released because she refused to convert in exchange for her freedom.

Join us to protest and pray for Leah

When

Wednesday 19 February 2020, 3pm

Where

Nigerian High Commission, 9 Northumberland Ave, London WC2N 5BX

Eritrean gospel singer Helen Berhane (who herself was incarcerated for two and a half years) will share and lead us in song. Like Leah, Helen’s situation looked utterly hopeless, but we continued to work on her case and pray, and today she lives in freedom. Let’s show the Nigerian government that we will not rest until Leah is also free!

Looking forward to seeing you there.
