One pathetically weak argument I have heard claims that when salvation happens, our names are written in The Lamb's Book of Life and NO backsies. Erasure is not possible.
This argument conveniently forgets that God possesses foreknowledge. When we give ourselves to Him at the beginning - He can also see the end.
If God sees us remaining faithful - our name will be written into the Book and could not be removed.
Why do some think that God, seeing the end of our faith as a total denial of Him, would possibly consider permanently inscribing such names into The Book of Life?
I am sorry to inform people that following God is not easy. Christianity is tough. Get used to it.
