Glaciers.

During my recent visit to Norway, I have looked with great interest at shrunken and still shrinking glaciers. I saw the same in Switzerland eight years ago.

Interestingly, we were told of how, 10,000 years ago the whole area was entirely glaciated and then there came 'a great melt.'

After pondering the scale of this loss of glaciers (and why so awful, in any case?) - it struck me how a few hundred thousand ancient peoples must have worked exceedingly hard to have achieved this - what with their early Internal Combustion Engines; their factories belching smoke into the atmosphere; all that wood and coal burning. Little wonder they produced so much damage.

Sorry? - What do you mean 'that wasn't the same. It was just a natural cycle?'
