My Mum, who died in mid-May, had been paying for an alarm system from Sheffield City Council.When it became clear that she could not hope to return home, the alarm was removed.
Some time after this and following Mum's death, we received a bill for the time we had 'used' after the alarm had been taken out.
I rang the relevant department who were most apologetic and said that there would be no more such bills.
Well, one arrived yesterday, again addressed to Mum.
Perhaps I should return it with the comment 'STILL deceased'. I am giving the matter consideration.
