Jeffrey John.

Is Dr Jeffrey John to be made a Bishop?
'Dr John is a hugely divisive figure in the church after he was
forced to stand down from becoming the Bishop of Reading in 2003 after it emerged he was in a homosexual, but celibate, relationship.' [Sunday Telegraph.]

Is it clear that he is non-practising to this day? - If so, it would be utterly wrong to discriminate against him on the grounds of biological tendency - especially if he has 'resisted temptation'.

Frankly, his liberal views are what should disqualify him from high office and the fact that he is 'a hugely divisive figure'.
