Great news from Liverpool. No - honestly!

'For more than a century, native red squirrels have been driven from woods and parks by an invading army of aggressive, disease-ridden greys.
But there are signs that the animals which inspired Beatrix Potter's Squirrel Nutkin are finally fighting back...and at an unlikely location.
In Merseyside, where they came close to extinction, their number has doubled in two years.
The victory is being hailed as the first success for reds on mainland England.'
