Elliot Morley will certainly be looking at the highest sentence of any to be meted out to the corrupt MPs after his guilty pleas yesterday.
He is described as 'blatantly dishonest'.
I once found myself sitting alongside him at a lunch and did not find him to be especially endearing - in fact, I didn't like him one bit as he mocked me for my views on the repellent EU. He was Fisheries Minister at the time and had just been explaining how EU monies had been spent to spy on our hard-pressed fishermen - and seemed to think that this was wonderful.
Nonetheless, isn't it sad that naked greed should have so grasped 'the man who had it all' that he is now seeing his life dismantled?
But justice is justice and the fault is entirely his own.
I have been praying for him - perhaps you might care to do the same?
