Salvation Is NOT For All.

One liberal christian teaching which has become increasingly prevalent in recent years is that 'Salvation is for all'.
NO IT ISN'T!  It is certainly a free offer to all but that is where it ends.
If my local ASDA starts to give away free cases of wine to every customer  - I cannot expect them to deliver as well. I actually need to get off my rear and go to their store to collect my 'free gift'.
If they also inform me that there are conditions in order to qualify, obviously then, I have to abide by these in order to 'gain my freebie'.
Sorry to put something so critical onto such a banal level but it is vital that people grasp the basic concept.
Any such thinking makes a mockery of Christ's sacrifice and atonement. God might just as well have said: 'Everybody in. No barriers. Evil people accepted.' He could then have waved some 'magic wand' and all would have been sorted irrespective of the states of grace of those seeking entry to heaven.
Perhaps it is the complete lack of spiritual responsibility which is behind this foul, perverted doctrine of 'universal salvation'.
None too surprisingly - it is quite popular. Misleading people in this fashion is a dangerous way forward. I personally would not fancy calling God 'a liar'!
(In the picture the word 'receive' is central.)
