EU Using Bribes?

The coalition Government has just decided to reduce by about 25 per cent the amount of EU Regeneration fund money that was coming to Yorkshire, and 
divert it to Scotland and Wales instead.It just so happens that 
fairly soon the people of 
Scotland are to be asked in a national referendum: “Do 
you wish to remain part of the UK?”This is a bribe by any other name. I cannot understand why our Government is so keen to keep Scotland part of the UK, and at the same time alienate Yorkshire even more.
