Many regular readers will wonder why I continually rabbit on about supermarket prices.Well, if we could only persuade the majority of people to shop as I have outlined - knowing the prices of goods both commonly purchased and less so - we could force prices downwards to the delight of all except Mr Tesco, Mr Asda et al.
A boycott of price-increased goods or ones where, instead of there being a reasonable 1% increase it is 15% and so on, would have a major effect.
The job of government would solely be to ensure that cartels did not undermine such an enterprise.
It need not even be a majority of customers doing this - 30% or possibly even 20% may well suffice.
