The 'Human Rights' Propaganda.

You want to abolish the shockingly poor ECHR and consequently, the bleating begins from all the mealy-mouthed leftists. They confidently assert that we shall all sink into a new dark age of oppression.

Just one question:
Were we all in a 'dark age of oppression' before the thrice-cursed ECHR reared its especially ugly head or did we actually have fewer instances of injustice?
Ironically, we were the motivating force behind this in the post 1945 era in order to give a framework to nations emerging from rule by dictatorship.
Our system was clearly so superior after generations of evolution, either then or later, we had no need of it.
