Tory Wets Want Us Dry!

The Conservative MP for Chatham and Aylesford, Tracey Crouch, said the decision [to abandon minimum alcohol pricing] left the UK "dangerously lagging behind in terms of public health policy which will ultimately cost lives".
Sarah Wollaston, the Tory MP for Totnes said she was disappointed the government had decided to "roll over to big alcohol lobbyists". Huff Post.
To think. Some of these mad nanny-staters are allegedly conservatives.
For reasons produced many times over on this Blog the policy will NOT work - and all it can do is to penalise those who are short of a bob or two!
