We, The Church, Pay A Price For Previous Laxity.

When the Church does not support orthodox marriage - and by this I mean that it has hardly even demurred when society has downgraded marriage in favour of 'partners' being broadly accepted through its doors on an equal basis - it is little surprise that the Church is then seen as operating to a double standard. When the homosexual issues arises - many parts of the Church have already yielded the moral high ground elsewhere. How do you then reclaim it as the descent into spiritual decay moves down a further notch without seeming two-faced? Answer - you can't!
