The Antinomian Heresy - Prevalent In The Sixteenth Century AND Today!

In Christianity, an antinomian is one who takes the principle of salvation by faith and divine grace to the point of asserting that the saved are not bound to follow the Law of Moses. (Wiki.)
In one limited sense, this is true. Jesus summed up all commandments into just two - Love God & Love Your Neighbour! But where the problems arise is that the whole 'Christian package' is made unnecessary and ignored. Where, for example, is penitence? Perhaps worse still, this thinking can blithely lead to a tacit rejection of, inter al, righteousness. This is perhaps why Paul in Romans 6:1 wrote: "What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase?" - Hardly, Paul!
