Not Good Enough. England in First ODI v India.

Cruising towards a mighty runs target whilst batting first at Old Trafford, the England middle order collapsed totally by playing spin appallingly badly.
It was so bad that it looked just like the oh-so-familiar middle order collapses so prevalent amongst the test team.
Awesome figures of 5 for 24.
Admittedly, the pitch was so dry that the Indian spinners, and especially Kuldeep, must have been licking their lips and thinking of home pitches back in Mumbai but this was a game where poor batting techniques were badly exposed.
Setting the Indians a moderate target of 160 to chase gave the bowlers no room to manoeuvre and consequently, defeat was inevitable.

Bless You Clive!
