A fine 68 from Jonny Bairstow, who had opened the innings, saw England reach their 161 target with a comfortable seven balls and four wickets to spare.
England had bowled and fielded well to restrict the Windies to 160 on the same pitch which had caused all the problems in the final ODI.
With a greatly weakened side (Ali, Stokes, Buttler and Roy had all departed for home after two long series and Wood was rested) - England batted to a more or less tolerable level, fielded well and bowled superbly.
Tom Curran was excellent with the ball but Rashid produced what may have been his best ever bowling stint in this particular format.
We cannot hide the fact that the West Indian side threw away a great many advantages with some pretty untidy bowling and some wretched catching. England did not win this match so much as the Windies threw it away!
Self explanatory title. I abhor that nicey nicey, politically correct, pseudo-Christianity which almost always supports leftwing attitudes - which in most cases are profoundly anti-Gospel. This Blog supports persecuted Christians. This Blog exposes cults. This Blog opposes junk science. UPDATED DAILY. This is not a forum. This Blog supports truly Christian websites and aids their efforts. It is hardhitting and unashamedly evangelical so if it offends - please do not come to this site!
