Shouting a person down and bullying them because you do not share the knowledge they have, and because you embrace bigotry, whilst pretending to hold the moral high ground, is despicable. Sadly, this is now commonplace. This is our Brave New Morality.
The fact that this steamrollers over free speech is worrying in the extreme - especially when the victim is not being judgemental in any way, but rather, is loving the blinkered who dare to assume that they 'know better than God'.
Pride is certainly amongst the most terrible of sins.
This is all made considerably worse when that person has everybody's best interests at heart.
When these who judge Folau as unworthy ultimately face a real divine judgement themselves, they will look back to this time and shed bitter tears.
When will these self-righteous ones start to deal with Muslims in the same manner? - They are hardly going to do that, are they?
Why not, precisely? Well, that would be terribly evenhanded - a real sin in our godless age.
We are surely at the very end of end times! The thought police are in control!
