CPTPP - The Killer For Remainers?
UK's bid to join £9trn trade bloc could be confirmed within days in huge Brexit win.
One of the major post-Brexit deals ministers have pinned their hopes on is joining the CPTPP - Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership.
Blogger: once part of this group, it is almost impossible to see any way back into the EU. Considerably more democratic, membership of the CPTPP would surely settle a huge chunk of this nation's trading future for generations to come. Surely, even an insane remainer government would not pull us out of this group to hitch our horse to an EU whose share of world trade has radically diminished year on year!
