Courageous Love.

MARCH 2026

Stories of courageous love

March gives us a beautiful opportunity to honour the women who shape our lives. As we mark International Women’s Day and Mother’s Day, we’re sharing the inspiring story of Connie and her mum, Janneth.

When Connie was born without her right leg, Janneth refused to let fear define their future. With courage and creativity, she found ways to help her daughter flourish and raised her to know she is uniquely and wonderfully made by God.

We’re also sharing a powerful film from Hadija, a brave mum who protected her children from violence and found safety and hope through her local church.

Grace in every step: Connie’s story

Many children living in poverty struggle to access the medical care they need when unexpected health challenges arise.

For Connie, that extra support made a world of difference. Before help arrived, her mum improvised with a doll’s leg to help her learn to walk, but Janneth continued to worry about how they could ever afford the ongoing prosthetics Connie would need as she grew.

Specialist medical interventions, from surgery to mobility aids, ensure children like Connie keep growing with confidence.
