Open Doors.

Now you see me...

Ariana* is a Christian refugee in Central Asia. One morning she got a call from her brother, back in Afghanistan. He had discovered her secret faith, and gave her an ultimatum: return to Islam, or he'd kill her.

Like millions of Christian women around the world, Ariana is persecuted for her faith and vulnerable because of her gender. Women like Ariana risk being erased from society, from the workplace and even from the world. Hear her story and help her see change.

    Keep praying for Iran

"The pain is like childbirth - but we pray for it to bring life and freedom soon," shares Sahar*, a Christian woman from Iran. "Please keep praying; people here need hope."

As conflict continues to rage in Iran, affecting numerous nearby countries, please keep praying for wisdom, hope and for the church to be a light in the darkness.

    27 killed in Ethiopia

A traditionally peaceful community in Oromia Region, Ethiopia, has been shocked by two targeted attacks in late February. Extremists killed 27 Orthodox Christians in a market and a church.

Local believers ask for prayer - and you can add your name to the Arise Africa petition, calling for peace, justice and restoration.

Afghanistan: the Taliban's latest penal code exerts even greater control over women, including legitimising domestic violence

Iraqpray for Iraqi believers and other citiizens who are also affected by the ongoing conflict

Nigeria: pray that the upcoming state visit of the Nigerian prime minister will be an opportunity for lasting change for our church family

Pastor Barnabas: have a tour of Pastor Barnabas's new home! Your prayers and support mean he and his family now have somewhere to live

Children's Easter resource: You can gently introduce the children in your life to the persecuted church through this funny, thought-provoking take on the Easter story. Order your free copies today.

    Every blessing,

    Simon
