By and large, Religious Education is a major disaster in our nation. It has been created through the efforts of liberal church people combined with minority religionists. The efforts of the terminally secular, both soft and hard left, as well as atheists and agnostics who despise all forms of faith complete the picture.This form of education is designed to damage, dilute, diminish and debilitate. In endless amounts of schools, where there is no solid Christian input at all, these courses sell our young people desperately short.
My children were educated in a Christian school and I simply would not have been prepared to have them educated through such an appalling system. I would have categorically refused to allow this vile multifaith approach to infect my children.
It behoves all Christian parents to find out just who is teaching 'religion' to their children.
I am amazed how readily Christian parents dump their offspring into state education. Some evangelicals ludicrously claim that their child will be 'salt' amongst all the non faith children. For every one where this is true, peer pressure probably wrecks the spiritual growth of another dozen!
It is little surprise that hostility to Christianity has multiplied in the last five years. We have now reached a place where a majority of our population has no idea what Christianity is; what it teaches; what the Bible says; what its relevance is; its history; our national traditions; its links to Art & Literature; why people need Jesus.
Such victims of a dreadful system are horrendously open to negatives when they possess no overview whatsoever.
