Great News - No Longer A Hospital Beds Shortage.

The Last Couple Of Days.
I went into the N. General on Tuesday morning and must thank Mrs Blogger for yesterday's postings, which I had left for her, in anticipation of my umbilical hernia operation keeping me in overnight.
I was actually released on the same day by the surgeon and it then took just 26 hours to process my departure.
A simple INR check to arrange my medicines and getting drugs from the hospital pharmacy was all that was required.
The ward staff were wonderful as were the surgeon and anaesthetist BUT an INR reading can be done on the spot - so why not permitted?
Why can a hospital pharmacy not get medicaments delivered to a ward in just 30 minutes?
Something is PROFOUNDLY wrong.
I shall now be tender for about a month and a half which may mean that up until Christmas my numbers of postings will reduce a little.

Bless You Clive!
