Having now watched three episodes of this series, I feel that it is truly
exceptional.
Only the confusion as to who was who in Episode One has taken anything at
all from the excellence of the television.
For once - in Episode Two - we saw a use of background music which was astonishingly
good.
Superb use of video photography, stirring the emotions without ever descending into sentimentalism, following the historical base intelligently and well acted.
Nice one, Channel Five!
Self explanatory title. I abhor that nicey nicey, politically correct, pseudo-Christianity which almost always supports leftwing attitudes - which in most cases are profoundly anti-Gospel.
