Not only was he central to the wicked rules which made it extremely hard for eurosceptic parties to access EU funding (see first posting today) but I personally saw an illegitimate argument used by him in a school debate in North Yorkshire. That argument was factually destroyed by his opponent. Yet, with neither embarrassment nor shame - he trotted it out again at a meeting in Sheffield Cathedral some months later where many more people were present.
