The Affair.

This series was plugged unrelentingly by Sky Atlantic for months. My good lady and I gave it every chance BUT last week, we chucked in the towel. What an abject waste of our time. A glorified soap and not even a good one. Had it been made into a two hour film ... then maybe just watchable. But this one dimensional, tedious effort was just a lousy plot filled to the brim with pot-boiling pap.
