England Win The Toss In Fourth Test.

To win, England will have to bat considerably better in Mumbai than in previous tests. Having won a vital toss, at least they have given themselves some sort of chance.
117 for just the loss of Cook in the first session was excellent work by England.
Young Jennings was still there at lunch and had really looked the part. Whether he is better than the injured Hameed - only time will tell and he was rather fortunate not to have been out for a duck when a ball with extra bounce went to the gully fielder but was not taken. From then on, he did everything right.
The pitch was difficult with extra bounce on some deliveries and occasional turn and bounce from the Indian spin attack.
Locals predict that the pitch will get easier in the afternoon sun but will be a nightmare by day three. It is a big advantage for England to have India batting last in this match but if they do not post well over 400 in this first innings, the same fate may await them as in the two tests in which they were defeated.
